Care Instructions
Caring for your White Sands Swimwear
Your White Sands swimsuit is crafted from premium fabrics and finished with delicate trims. A little care keeps it looking its best for seasons to come.
- Always wash your swimsuit before wearing it for the first time. Darker colours may release some dye initially, so wash separately to avoid any transfer onto lighter fabrics.
- Rinse and hand-wash your suit in cold water with a gentle detergent as soon as possible after wearing. Skip the washing machine, as the heat and standard detergents are too harsh on swimwear fabrics. Rinse thoroughly in cold water until all detergent is gone before drying.
- Never tumble dry, dry clean, wring or twist your suit. Avoid ironing and bleach entirely.
- Lay your suit flat to dry in the shade. Direct sunlight can fade or damage the fabric, and hanging puts strain on the delicate fibres, which can stretch the shape. Make sure it is fully dry before storing.
- Sunscreen, tanning oils, fake tan, chlorine and hot tubs can all stain or degrade the fabric, so take extra care whenever your suit comes into contact with them.
- Keep your suit away from rough surfaces, which can snag and pull the fabric.
Caring for your White Sands Resortwear
To preserve the quality and lifespan of your White Sands resortwear pieces, follow these simple steps.
- Fill a clean sink with cool water and a gentle cleanser. Rinse the piece by hand, then lift it out. Refill with fresh water, no cleanser, and repeat until every trace of soap is gone.
- Once fully rinsed, lay the piece flat to dry somewhere with good airflow. Keep it out of the dryer, as the heat can shrink the garment and damage the fabric.
- Always follow the care instruction on the label, some times need special care.
