Beauty Tips - So delicious you could eat them

We have DIY homemade beauty treatments that will have your night sorted and you ready for the weekend! (And all the ingredients can be found in your kitchen!)

Green Hair Don’t Care
This Avocado Moisture Mask will bring your dry and damaged hair back to life.

You will need:
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Optional:
  • Peppermint Essential Oil

What to do:

  • Mash up half an avocado
  • Add a couple of drops of peppermint essential oil
  • Add oil + egg yolk and combine

Shampoo hair and remove extra water. Apply Mask and let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse clean.

The Oatmeal Exfoliate & Face Mask
This treatment acts as both a mask and an exfoliate that will give your skin a deep cleanse.

You will need:

  • 6 tablespoons raw brown sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 packet plain instant oatmeal (uncooked)

What to do:

  • Strain egg white into a bowl
  • Froth it with a fork
  • Add sugar and blend
  • Add honey and blend
  • Add oatmeal and blend

Once combined, rub the mask into your skin in small circles.

Once you’ve thoroughly exfoliated your face, press the remaining scrub on your face and let it dry for 10.

Rinse with warm water. Pat face dry with towl.

The Wake Me Up Body Scrub

Time to wake up and smell the coffee.

You will need:

  • 4 tablespoons raw brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon of coffee grounds

What to do:

  • Combine ingredients in bowl and mix together

Jump in the shower and wet your body for a few minutes. Take a spoonful of mixture and scrub away in a circular motion.

Key area to focus: Elbows, knees & the soles of your feet

Once your entire body is scrubbed well, rinse thoroughly.

The great thing about making your own beauty products is that you know exactly what is in it.

We had so much fun testing these treatments (we even made extra + are keeping them in the fridge for next time).
